I’m not a C++/KDE developer — I work in test development — and I only did AI-assisted local analysis and testing to identify and verify this fix. I don’t have the experience or capacity to submit and follow an upstream merge request through review, nor to own the fix going forward. I’m happy for someone else to take it over and use the findings/diff/test results from comment #6 and the additional confirmation in comment #9. They can open the MR with BUG: 501315; I don’t need credit or to be the author. If useful, I can answer questions about my local test setup, but I can’t be the one to submit/follow up on the MR.
