[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #11 from [email protected] --- Still relevant on Plasma 6.7.5 (Wayland, CachyOS, 1920x1080). KRunner's fixed width truncates long results (file paths, document names), which makes it hard to pick the right entry. There is currently no way to change the width on Wayland: - No setting in System Settings > Search > KRunner. - RunCommand.qml is no longer shipped in /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/, so the old QML workaround from this report no longer applies. - A KWin window rule matching "krunner krunner" (all window types) with forced Size, forced Minimum Size and "Ignore requested geometry" = Yes has no effect; KRunner keeps its default width. So on Wayland the only option left is patching and rebuilding plasma-workspace. A configurable width (e.g. a percentage of screen width, or a few presets in the KRunner settings page), or remembering a user-resized width, would solve this. The earlier MRs (plasma-desktop !1053/!1057, plasma-workspace !1939) show it is technically straightforward. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
