DESCRIPTION

When I open lid and resume from suspend, often (but not always) kscreenlocker
show "Unlocking failed" immediately, before I even press any keys. Ater this,
sometimes the password box does not display ***'s when typing but stays
completely white, even though I'm still able to log in.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Optionally, lock screen manually beforehand. (Does not affect result.)
2. Close lid to suspend.
3. Open lid to resume.

OBSERVED RESULT
Screen locker shows "Unlocking failed", with journalctl --follow showing:
kscreenlocker_greet[29617]: pam_unix(kde:auth): unexpected response from failed
conversation function
kscreenlocker_greet[29617]: pam_unix(kde:auth): conversation failed
kscreenlocker_greet[29617]: pam_unix(kde:auth): auth could not identify
password for [myself]

EXPECTED RESULT
Screen locker waits for input before attempting login.
