--- Comment #14 from Allen Winter <[email protected]> ---
Git commit f92a715c330759397bff7f669729b25bf264263a by Allen Winter, on behalf
of Méven Car.

servermanager: do not wait for the D-Bus activation of akonadi_control

Before this change, ServerManager::start() called StartServiceByName
synchronously. The bus answers it only once akonadi_control registers
org.freedesktop.Akonadi.Control. akonadi_control registers it after
akonadiserver and the autostart agents are up. On a slow login this
took up to the 25 second D-Bus timeout.

Plasma widgets create Akonadi sessions on the plasmashell main thread,
for example the Merkuro Contacts widget and the calendar events of the
digital clock. plasmashell froze for this whole time after login.

The call is now asynchronous and start() returns at once in the
Starting state. The QProcess fallback runs from the reply, unless
akonadi_control is already starting. When the fallback fails too, the
state changes to Broken.

servermanagerstarttest runs a private bus with a slow activatable
service and checks that start() returns before the activation ends.
