--- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- I can reproduce this with tesseract Screenshot_20261014_224631.png outputbase -l jpn So it's not a Spectacle issue However it does work properly with tesseract Screenshot_20261014_223808.png outputbase -l jpn -c preserve_interword_spaces=1 which I found from this issue https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/issues/2702. It seems like this defaulted for Japanese in a config file https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/langdata/blob/main/jpn/jpn.config#L2 so I'm not sure if this is due to Arch not including that config file in the package, and the proper fix is to add it?
