Sorry, for some reason the email with this reply got stashed in the "updates" tab of gmail and I missed it; why the bot reply got through instead is a mystery to me. I have tried to reproduce the problem, but have been unable to do so. Of note, I did get at least one kernel update (linux-modules* packages) inbetween me writing the first report and this day; maybe something changed that fixed this problem?
