Bug ID: 527191
Summary: krdp unattended mode + Relogin=true: SwitchToGreeter
spawns duplicate autologin sessions and wedges the
physical seat
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasma-login-manager
Version First 6.8.0
Reported In:
Platform: KDE Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
With plasma-login-manager's autologin configured with Relogin=true, an explicit
SwitchToGreeter request from krdpserver (its new unattended / "RemoteAccess"
mode in Plasma 6.8) causes plasmalogin to log the user in AGAIN into a whole
new Plasma session on a new VT, instead of showing a greeter. Each RDP
connection therefore spawns an extra full session; the duplicate sessions fight
the original one for DRM master, and the physical seat ends up on a
half-started duplicate: frozen picture, unresponsive keyboard/mouse, forced
reboot. Possibly related to bug 500038.
