--- Comment #1 from KDE User <[email protected]> ---
+1 for grouping shortcuts with cards.

This is a pretty good idea. As of now on System Settings the shortcuts page is
a bit hard to make sense of. There are plenty of shortcuts that could be worded
and organized better. For example, after using SwayWM for a couple months I got
used to tiling windows with VIM bindings. So I decided to replicate window
management bindings, some quick access features like media player and night
light, and opening essential applications like Konsole and Dolphin through
KDE's shortcut settings after switching to KDE again [because I was excited
about the upcoming Plasma 6.8's removal of X11...]. But when I was looking at
the shortcuts settings, I realized it's not very easy to find stuff quickly.
Some shortcuts could be worded better, some were not organized or "kept
together", etc.

The initial solution I could think of at that moment was to just word them
better and organize the related ones close together. But this proposed cards
solution is a much better solution now that I see it. It would allow for
grouping a group of related shortcuts, like moving windows, into one card. That
way I don't think each individual shortcut's placeholder is even required to be
worded better, just the card group's title alone would give an idea of what
this group of shortcut is about. Making it much easier to find shortcuts and
changing them.

For example, a shortcut group related to quick window tiling could be like the
following.

Group 1 Title: Quick Tile Window
- Quick tile window to the Left [Ctrl + Arrow Left] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Quick tile window to the Right [Ctrl + Arrow Right] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Quick tile window to the Top [Ctrl + Arrow Up] [Add Custom
Shortcut Icon]
- Quick tile window to the Bottom [Ctrl + Arrow Down] [Add Custom
Shortcut Icon]

Group 2 Title: Switch to Desktop
- Switch to Desktop 1 [Meta + F1] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Switch to Desktop 2 [Meta + F2] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Switch to Desktop 3 [Meta + F3] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Switch to Desktop 4 [Meta + F4] [Add
Custom Shortcut Icon]

Group 3 Title: Common Window State Operations
- Close Window [Alt + F4, Meta +
Shift + Q] [Add Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Minimize Window [Meta + PgDown, Meta +
N] [Add Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Maximize Window [Meta + PgUp, Meta + M]
[Add Custom Shortcut Icon]
- Fullscreen Window [Meta + F] [Add Custom
Shortcut Icon]

This will make it much easier to scan the contents of global shortcuts in
settings. Side effects could be that it adds to Wayland's global shortcuts
reputation.
