[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #12 from [email protected] --- Confirming the same regression with an AMD iGPU, so it is not Intel-specific. System: Arch Linux, kernel 7.2.9-arch1-1, nvidia-open 615.78.08, Mesa 26.2.4, Plasma/KWin 6.8.0, Wayland. Hardware: laptop with RTX 5070 Ti Laptop (PCI 01:00.0) + Radeon 610M iGPU (PCI 06:00.0). Topology: KWin renders on the NVIDIA GPU (supportInformation shows OpenGL renderer = RTX 5070 Ti; KWIN_DRM_DEVICES is not set). The only active output is DP-3 (3840x2160@60, HDR + WCG enabled, 10 bpc, scale 1.7), which is driven by amdgpu. The internal eDP panel is wired to the NVIDIA GPU but was disabled during this test, so this is a single-output, render-GPU != scanout-GPU setup — similar to the report in comment 3. Symptoms with 6.8.0: every keypress makes the repainted regions (text areas) flicker/glitch on the physical panel. No issues on 6.7.5. Regression window: clean on 6.7.5; appears immediately after upgrading 6.7.5 -> 6.8.0 and rebooting; downgrading the Plasma stack back to 6.7.5 (same NVIDIA driver, same config) makes it go away again. I can attach drm_info / vulkaninfo / kwin journal output, and can re-upgrade to 6.8.0 to test KWIN_DISABLE_VULKAN=1 if that helps confirm the Vulkan multi-GPU copy path. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
