DESCRIPTION
If the "Autostart" menu in the Systemsettings contain entries, the
systemsettings are closing directly.
I tried to open kcm_autostart via terminal (fish) and got the following output
of the crash:
kf.iconthemes: Icon theme "gnome" not found.
kf.iconthemes: Icon theme "ubuntu-mono-dark" not found.
kf.iconthemes: Icon theme "Mint-X" not found.
kf.iconthemes: Icon theme "gnome" not found.
org.kde.libkbolt: Failed to connect to Bolt manager DBus interface:
qt.qpa.services: Failed to register with host portal
QDBusError("org.freedesktop.portal.Error.Failed", "Could not register app ID:
Connection already associated with an application ID")
fish: Job 1, 'systemsettings kcm_autostart' terminated by signal SIGBUS
(Fehler: versetzte Adresse)
It doesn't matter, if it are scripts or applications
I faced this issue already in Plasma 6.5, but hoped, the error would disappear
with a new Plasma-version. Now I'm on Plasma 6.8 on CachyOS and it didn't
appear.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open systemsettings
2. navigate to "Autostart"
3. If there are entries, it crashes. If there are no entries and
~/.config/autostart is empty, it remains open.
OBSERVED RESULT
The systemsettings close immediately
EXPECTED RESULT
The settings and this page remains open and gives option to modify, deactivate,
add or remove autostart-entries
