            Bug ID: 527377
Summary: kwin thread hangs as it wakes up the dgpu to active
                    state
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.8.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: performance
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Compositor hangs for half a second to a second as it waits for the dGPU to wake
up. Happens very frequently (when gpu autosuspend delay is low, then it can
happen a few times a minute).

Semi-workaround seems to be to increase the autosuspend delay:
echo 30000 | sudo tee
/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:03:00.0/power/autosuspend_delay_ms

Marking this as major, because disabling autosuspend on a laptop greatly lowers
the battery life, increases heat and noise.

Issues noticed after very recent Arch update.
