--- Comment #18 from Allen Winter <[email protected]> --- I found an old troubleshooting guide (specific to POP but might be true for IMAP as well) that talks about how a new Local Folder is created if the the special folders (trash, sent-mail, drafts, etc) are not properly configured. So look in each of your identity configurations and see if anything looks wrong. When looking in one of my identities I saw this in yellow banner "Some custom folder for identity does not exist (anymore); therefore, default folders will be used.".
