--- Comment #13 from Bernd <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Gabriel Gazzán from comment #11) > There's no need when the user is using just one display. Thanks for the concession ;-) > Please, bear in mind most serious users tend to have several displays, and > in such configurations the Monitors widgets could potentially be (and > usually are) "far away" from the Timeline. That's why in Premiete Pro > there's both a timecode field in the Monitors and in the Timeline widgets. I understand that point. I usually have the Project Monitor on full screen on my second monitor with F11. In that configuration there is no time code field on the second monitor, but I still have the PM widget right above the timeline on the first monitor (widescreen, btw). So, the time code field is not that far away ;-) Even if I un-dock the PM widget and move it to the second monitor, it's not that far away as to not being quickly reachable with the mouse. Than said, I agree with people coming from PP using muscle memory being thrown off or confused. Let's keep it open and start a discussion about how this could look like, how to capture key presses intended for time code entry while the focus is on another widget, and what the best way of entering the time code is. I am inviting our resident editing expert Massimo to this discussion ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
