Bug ID: 527458
Summary: Windows can't recover their original shape if they're
closed while attached to screen edges
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.8.0
Reported In:
Platform: CachyOS
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Drag a window into a screen edge.
2. Close it.
3. Open the same app.
OBSERVED RESULT
The window doesn't recover its user-set shape prior to being attached to a
screen edge.
EXPECTED RESULT
Windows should recover their sizes prior to being attached to a screen edge
since their screen edge shape is most usable in screen edges. Their prior size
in other hand was set by the users themselves, which means they're more
comfortable with it.
