I'm able to save screenshots from spectacle where there is an asterisk in a window title. This works with Dolphin 26.08.2 and Dolphin built from git-master. For example In Konsole, in ~/name_*_name , the directory name appears, with the *, in the window title The screenshot was saved as "name_*_name : zsh — Konsole.png" Please re-test with Plasma 6.8.0 / Dolphin 26.08.2 or later .
