            Bug ID: 527543
Summary: Default keyboard layout: Numpad keys intercepted for
                    brush selection in text tool.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
      Version First 5.3.4
       Reported In:
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Tool/Text
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
PC version using keyboard with separate keypad: When entering text, the forward
slash and period keys on the numpad are intercepted as command shortcuts
(previous brush and sequence through brushes, respectively), while those on the
main keyboard are correctly dedicated to text entry.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open text tool
2. Type into the tool using the keypad keys. Then use the main keyboard keys.

OBSERVED RESULT
Note that the normal shortcut functions on the main keyboard are suspended
while in the text tool, allowing the symbols on those keys to be entered into
the text string (specifically the forward slash and period keys). Observe that
on the keypad, the same symbols are STILL intercepted to be used as brush
selection shortcuts (this will probably still apply to any shortcut those keys
are mapped to).

EXPECTED RESULT
The shortcut functions of keys on the keypad should be suspended while in text
entry mode, exactly as they are on the main keyboard, allowing the period and
forward slash keys to be used for text entry.
