DESCRIPTION
In Kwin 6.8.1 mouse locking/hiding in Blender is bugged.
When using "sliders" (see attached screenshot) in Blender, the mouse will
teleport to where the last "modal operator" locked the mouse in Blender (just
use the "grab" shortcut on the default cube to use a "modal operator").
I've bisected this to

And created my own patch set where I reverted:

(The later two were reverted because they build on top of the first commit)
With this patch set, the mouse now behaves properly like it did in Kwin 6.7 for
this common use case in my patched 6.8.1 build.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Blender
2. Grab (use the g key) the default cube and either confirm or cancel the grab
(left or right click)
3. Move your mouse over to the "Location X" slider in the properties panel (see
attached screenshot)
4. Press and hold the left mouse button over the slider and start dragging
5. Let go of the mouse.
OBSERVED RESULT
The mouse has been teleported way from the slider and back to the 3D viewport
where you lasted used the "grab" operator.
EXPECTED RESULT
The mouse appears where you started dragging the slider.
