--- Comment #5 from Maik Qualmann <[email protected]> --- The cause is the camera's 16:9 aspect ratio setting. Consequently, the preview image is in 16:9 format, while the RAW image is in 3:2 format. The best approach at the moment is to set the preview view in digiKam to "RAW preview," as we perform face detection on the RAW image rather than on the preview image.
