            Bug ID: 527747
           Summary: Virtual screencast output stored as disabled in
                    kwinoutputconfig.json; every later “Virtual Output”
                    share fails with “Could not find output”
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: output configuration
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
After using "Share virtual screen" when screen sharing and then accidentally
selecting "Only use built-in screen" on Meta+P, the virtual output is saved as
disabled in `kwinoutputconfig.json`. There is no way to fix this in KDE Plasma
itself, I needed to edit the config in a terminal session (Ctrl+Alt+F3) while
KWin was not running.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start sharing your screen
2. Choose "Share virtual screen" in the "Share screen with" dialog
3. While sharing, input Meta+P and choose "Only use built-in screen"

OBSERVED RESULT
Screen sharing via a virtual screen stops working. When trying, the virtual
screen connects, but immediately disconnects.
Journal says:
```
xdg-desktop-portal-kde: failed to start streaming ScreencastingStream(0x…)
"Could not find output"
xdg-desktop-portal-kde: Invalid screen! 5 "Virtual"
```
`kwinoutputconfig.json` contains:
```
{ "connectorName": "Virtual-virtual-xdp-kde-deskreen-ce", "mode": { "width":
1920, "height": 1080, … }, … }
```
and
```
{ "lidClosed": false, "outputs": [
    { "enabled": true,  "outputIndex": 0, … },
    { "enabled": false, "outputIndex": 4, "position": { "x": 1536, "y": 0 }, …
} ] }
```

EXPECTED RESULT
The user should not be able to accidentally disable the virtual screen sharing
altogether without a way to re-enable it. The virtual screen should either be
re-enabled the next time a user tries to use it or it should not be possible to
disable it at all.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
