KWin now reports Caps Lock from the actual Caps Lock modifier instead of the keyboard LED, so lighting the Caps Lock LED for the alternative layout no longer makes the widget think Caps Lock is on. I can't reproduce it on current git master with grp:caps_toggle and grp_led:caps.
