--- Comment #32 from wisemanu <[email protected]> --- I've proposed a Qt patch for this: https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/783591 (upstream bug: https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTBUG-143172) It adds an environment variable, QT_WIDGETS_WHEEL_CHANGES_VALUE. When set to "never", spin boxes, date/time edits, sliders, dials and combo boxes in all Qt Widgets apps no longer change their value on the mouse wheel and no longer take focus from it; the wheel event goes to the parent, so the surrounding view keeps scrolling. Scroll bars, lists etc. are unaffected. When unset (or "default"), nothing changes. I chose an env var over a style hint so that the user's choice applies to all apps regardless of style and can't be overridden. This change would also work across all OSes. Plasma could set it from a System Settings option (e.g. via environment.d). Feedback, testing and +1s in Gerrit from KDE folks would be very welcome. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
