Paul Floyd <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from Paul Floyd <[email protected]> --- Thanks for the patch. I changed the message wording to be the same as the 1 existing RUN check. There are a few other checks without cross compile messages but they are mostly for Solaris where I don't think anyone is cross compiling. commit 74e91f2970fc90a76f616c679a81b98e1f303257 (HEAD -> master, origin/master, origin/HEAD) Author: Rudi Heitbaum <[email protected]> Date: Sat Oct 24 12:00:00 2026 +1100 Bug 5277723 - configure.ac: do not fail the arm64 test probes when cross-compiling Commit cd8a547aa changed the dotprod probe from AC_COMPILE_IFELSE to AC_RUN_IFELSE and commit 938c24838 added the crypto probe as AC_RUN_IFELSE, neither with an action for cross-compiling. autoconf then aborts configure with "cannot run test program while cross compiling" for every target, not just arm64, as the probes are not guarded by the architecture. Both only decide whether the matching regression tests are built, so answer no when the test program cannot be run. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
