            Bug ID: 527843
Summary: RtAudio pause stutter loop vs. SDL crackling on
                    Windows 11
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
      Version First 26.08.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Monitors & Playback
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I am experiencing severe audio backend issues on Windows 11:

1. RtAudio : Audio playback is clean, but pausing playback leaves the last few
milliseconds of audio stuck in an endless stutter loop. Audio driver selection
is grayed out to WASAPI.
2. SDL : Pausing works correctly, but playback audio has heavy
crackling/clicking issues (tested with WASAPI and DirectSound).

System Details:
- OS: Windows 11
- Audio hardware tested: Logitech G733 / Bluetooth audio devices (set to 16-bit
48000 Hz)

Both audio backends are currently nearly unusable under Windows 11. Any fix or
guidance on clearing the RtAudio buffer on pause would be greatly appreciated.
