That's extremely weird. Guessing almost blindly then, this *could* be your
problem:

> │ │ │ ├───1920×[email protected] driver phsync pvsync 16:9

> │ │ │ ├───1920×[email protected] driver phsync pvsync interlace 16:9
> │ │ │ ├───1920×[email protected] driver phsync pvsync 16:9

KWin has some logic to pick the fastest mode with the native resolution, but it
has no preference for interlaced vs. not, so there's a chance it picked an
interlaced mode by default. Maybe the radeon driver has broken interlace
support, or maybe the screen doesn't support it properly.

To check if it's the case, ssh into the system and run
> WAYLAND_DISPLAY=wayland-1 kscreenctl list-outputs
to get the current settings, and upload the output of that here.

If the mode is not the preferred one (the one with the ! next to it), try
changing it, like this:
> WAYLAND_DISPLAY=wayland-1 kscreenctl active-output set-mode 1
