DESCRIPTION
This is 100% reproducible.
The plugin in question is part of Kwin at
/usr/share/kwin/scripts/desktopchangeosd.
Whenever I enable it, kwin complains on two lines on every virtual desktop
change. The journal fills up quickly.
Apart from that, everything seems to work normally.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install CachyOS with Plasma
2. In Plasma Settings, under Kwin Scripts, activate
3. Switch virtual desktops
OBSERVED RESULT
Kwin complains on two lines on every virtual desktop change. The journal fills
up quickly.
EXPECTED RESULT
Don't flood the journal with repeating identical WARNINGs on every desktop
switch.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
CachyOS. The kwin package comes straight from ArchLinux and is at version
6.8.0-1
(https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/kwin/-/raw/main/PKGBUILD).
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.31.0
Qt Version: 6.12.0
(the behaviour has persisted across multiple upgrades/reboots, but I will
perform one right now to be sure, and edit this report)
