Although to be honest that's the least of my problems with 6.8.2. It initially started after an upgrade from 6.7 to 6.8.2 with the onscreen keyboard showing up to now the system being completely broken with plasma being unable to connect to the screen with plasma shell being unable to connect to kactivitymanagerd as it's all starting out of sync. Honestly I know this doesn't happen often but 6.8.1/2/3 is a bit of a broken mess on my systems. Not to mention I still use x11vnc and find trying to get rdp working a nightmare.
