Bug ID: 528040
Summary: Display negative coordinates prevent mirroring
monitors
Classification: Plasma
Product: KScreen
Version First 6.6.6
Reported In:
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: common
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I can't configure my monitors to mirror mode after extending into negative
position coordinates.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Using 2 monitors
1. Super+P - Select Extend to the Left - Enter
2. Super+P - Mirror - Enter
OBSERVED RESULT
I can't set my monitors in mirroring mode at this point. If I do the same from
the GUI by setting "replicate x", I get an error saying the following
(reproduced in vm)
"Couldn't apply display configuration: Position of enabled output Virtual-2 is
negative (-1920,0)
EXPECTED RESULT
Switching to mirroring works seamlessly as well as any display grid
arrangement.
