Bug ID: 528070
Summary: Applications from other virtual desktops shown after
turning on the screen
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.8.2
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager widgets
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
DESCRIPTION
This is a small regression after updating from 6.8.1 (perhaps 6.8.0, but didn't
noticed) to 6.8.2. When I turn on the screen on my PC, the task manager shows
applications from all virtual desktops, instead of just the current desktop.
This is fixed by simply moving to a different virtual desktop, and then it
works again correctly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add icons-only task manager to a panel
2. Configure it to only show tasks from the current desktop in Settings ->
Behavior
3. Open a few applications in different virtual desktops
4. Turn off screen
5. Turn on screen
OBSERVED RESULT
All open tasks are shown in the task manager
EXPECTED RESULT
Only the open tasks in current desktop should be shown

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I cannot replicate the issue on my laptop with its built-in screen. I also
cannot replicate the issue if monitor was to sleep, it is only when I turn it
off and on with the power button. But this is something I always did, and never
had this problem.
