KDE applications shipped as Flatpaks cannot open smb:// or sftp:// URLs (bug
477615 and its duplicates 509470, 510044, 527913).
The usual error is “Unable to create KIO worker. Unknown protocol ‘smb’.” (or
‘sftp’).
The cause is in this runtime due to missing the smb and sftp kio workers. In
kio-extras, the smb and sftp workers are compile-time optional.
REQUESTED CHANGE
Add modules for libsmbclient and libssh to the runtime build so that kio-extras
compiles both workers into
org.kde.Platform.
