--- Comment #32 from [email protected] --- I installed Plasma 6.8.2 (with zypper dup) on the same machine (original bug report). The flickering is still there. I try here to describe how it is on my machine: Flickering is worse on Konsole and Dolphin windows than on Firefox. Flickering is not that frequent if you stay within Firefox. Similar with Thunderbird. Changing programs result for more frequent and longer lasting black frames. When I moved the cursor on the empty desktop, flickering is bad, but after longer movement when the cursor got bigger, I had no flickering while moving (the big cursor). When stopping movement, the cursor gets normal and usually visually longer black will come. Not always the same length. inxi -F System: Host: ollinb2 Kernel: 7.3.0-1-default arch: x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 6.8.2 Distro: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20261030 Machine: Type: Laptop System: ASUSTeK product: G750JW v: 1.0 serial: <superuser required> Mobo: ASUSTeK model: G750JW v: 1.0 serial: <superuser required> Firmware: UEFI vendor: American Megatrends v: G750JW.207 date: 05/23/2013 Battery: ID-1: BAT0 charge: 0 Wh condition: 83.6/89.2 Wh (93.7%) volts: 15.12 min: 15.12 CPU: Info: quad core model: Intel Core i7-4700HQ bits: 64 type: MT MCP cache: L2: 1024 KiB Speed (MHz): avg: 800 min/max: 800/3400 cores: 1: 800 2: 800 3: 800 4: 800 5: 800 6: 800 7: 800 8: 800 Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA GK106M [GeForce GTX 765M] driver: nouveau v: kernel Device-2: IMC Networks USB2.0 UVC HD Webcam driver: uvcvideo type: USB Display: wayland server: X.org v: 1.21.1.25 with: Xwayland v: 24.1.14 compositor: kwin_wayland driver: X: loaded: modesetting unloaded: vesa dri: nouveau gpu: nouveau resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz API: EGL v: 1.5 drivers: nouveau, swrast platforms: gbm,wayland,x11,surfaceless,device API: OpenGL v: 4.6 compat-v: 4.3 vendor: mesa v: 26.2.5 renderer: NVE6 API: Vulkan v: 1.4.363 drivers: nvk, llvmpipe surfaces: N/A Info: Tools: api: eglinfo, glxinfo, vulkaninfo de: kscreen-console,kscreen-doctor wl: wayland-info x11: xdpyinfo, xprop, xrandr -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
