            Bug ID: 528159
Summary: Crash when renaming top-level directory in archive to
                    empty string
    Classification: Applications
           Product: ark
      Version First 26.08.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When (accidentally) renaming a top-level directory within an archive file to
the empty string, the app crashes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a zip archive with a directory inside.
2. Open the archive with ark to show its contents.
3. Rename the top-level directory (F2), delete all characters, press enter.

OBSERVED RESULT
Immediate crash.

EXPECTED RESULT
Some error message that a directory name should not be empty.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.31.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Crash happens both with zip and tar.gz archives. The archives remain intact
even after the crash.

Assume an archive has the following file and directories inside the archive:
"top/inner/file.txt"
When renaming the "inner" directory, there is an actual error message which
says:
"Files with the following paths already exist. Remove them if you really want
to overwrite."
Followed by a list showing the directory "top". This makes it look like the
inner directory disappeared. I think this error message could also be improved.
