My hope is actually that this might be something KDE's new work-in-progress Union theming system might allow you to do on a per-app basis; it's also CSS-based. In that case it might be smarter to wait for the generic solution rather than build it back into the individual apps. I think this would also be hard with Kwi otherwise, as the old stylesheet system was a QWidget feature that Qt Quick/Kirigami don't have.
