Bug ID: 528185
Summary: Support Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V for copy/paste
Classification: Applications
Product: kwi

OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Keywords: usability
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR

Target Milestone: ---
The big kahuna! A new terminal app could be the perfect time to introduce this
behavior without technically breaking anyone's existing expectation. It would
be a huge usability boon, IMO.
Konsole had an old merge request to do this the eventually gathered significant
support and the approval of a maintainer, but it never got done:

How I envision this would work in Kwi:
- Ctrl+C: if any text is selected, copy it. If not, send the standard Ctrl+C
signal
- Ctrl+V: paste, and accept the loss of the Ctrl+V signal being handled by any
TUI apps
Maybe make it on by default but disable-able for people who don't like it.
