DESCRIPTION
Composing an e-Mail – select the mail's language as being "British English
(United Kingdom)".
The spelling of BRITISH ENGLISH (as in the the West European Islands) words
such as "neighbour" is marked as being incorrect.
The suggested correct spelling is "neighbor" – which is the US American
spelling of the word – in other words, the spelling used by the "cousins" on
the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Compose an e-Mail.
2. Select the spell-checking language "British English (United Kingdom)".
3. Type the BRITISH ENGLISH word "neighbour".
OBSERVED RESULT
The word "neighbour" is marked as being incorrectly spelt → the INCORRECT «US
AMERICAN» spelling of "neighbor" is suggested.
EXPECTED RESULT
That the BRITISH ENGLISH word, and a few others such as -
arbour, ardour, armour, behaviour, candour, clamour, clangour, colour,
demeanour, dolour, enamour, endeavour, favour, fervour, flavour, harbour,
honour, odour, parlour, rancour, rigour, rumour, saviour, savour, splendour,
succour, tumour, valour, vapour, and vigour,
be accepted as being correctly spelt.
