Summary: Option to set a default Activity on startup
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: plasma-activities
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]

                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

FEATURE REQUEST
Add an option in System Settings to select a default Activity on startup/login.

USE CASE / RATIONALE
KDE Plasma currently persists whichever Activity was active when the session
ended. For users who want a clean, predictable workspace reset on every boot
(e.g., always starting on a "Home" activity rather than leaving the system on a
specialized "Work" or "Editing" activity), there is no built-in GUI toggle to
set a default startup activity.

PROPOSED BEHAVIOR
Add a setting under System Settings -> Desktop Session (or Activity Settings)
allowing users to select:
• Restore last active Activity (Default behavior)
• Always start on Activity: [Dropdown of existing Activities, e.g., "Home"]

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.31.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44 / Nobara Linux 44
Graphics Platform: Wayland
