Yes, hundreds of reports around mulitple chats and mulitple reported bugs. all linking to a very similar problem that has spread though many many years. After spending a month installing and testing mulitple different distro's i know it works fine on most distro's to start with. not sure what triggers the issue. but the past 3 re-installs i have done it seems to happen now straight away, currently really happy on Garuda, best one i have found so far, so not looking to jump to another distro in 2026. but this issue is very annoying. Find the best temp fix is to have Quick Launch icons on the right of the taskbar and open apps on the left, instead of all on the left and the correct active window been the one for the open window.
