This problem is in the GPhoto driver (Sony manual focus control), not in KStars or Ekos. INDI drivers are developed and tracked in a separate project, so we are closing this bug here. Please report it to the INDI developers at https://github.com/indilib/indi-3rdparty/issues. Include your operating system, your KStars and INDI versions, and a log with verbose driver logging enabled that shows the problem.
