DESCRIPTION
When opening a multi-file translation project profile (.lokalize) or navigating
between active tabs, the application fails to recycle or toggle the visibility
of the primary sidebar helper docks (Translation Units, Unit Metadata,
Glossary).
Instead, every time a new translation file tab receives focus, a completely
separate, duplicate set of these dock widgets is spawned and violently stacked
down the left container column.
This causes an infinite layout nesting loop. Over time, the UI tree becomes so
deeply nested that it triggers an application structural crash with zsh:
segmentation fault (core dumped). Wiping user cache or config directories fails
to prevent the bug, as it re-triggers the moment the project manager loops
through the project's file list array.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a workspace project containing multiple .po files (e.g., loading a
large directory layout file like kf5-trunk.lokalize).
2. Open several files concurrently (or let the project auto-restore a session
containing multiple documents like klipper.po, merkuuro.po, etc.).
3. Click back and forth between different file tabs in the main horizontal view
panel.
4. Observe the left-hand column: duplicate instances of the Translation Units
and Unit Metadata views stack vertically and compress the actual core document
panel.
5. Continue changing active tab focuses until the process crashes with a
segmentation fault.
OBSERVED RESULT
Sidebars spawn endlessly per document tab instead of remaining singular and
updating context. The UI tree breaks, leading directly to a memory management
crash (SIGSEGV).
EXPECTED RESULT
The application layout should maintain a single global instance of helper
panels that dynamically refresh content based on the active tab context.
