Bug ID: 528507
Summary: Pinch zoom does nothing on touchpad and touch screen;
with touch painting enabled, it draws a square in the
brush color
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version First 5.3.4.1
Reported In:
Platform: Microsoft Windows
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Tablets (tablet issues are only very rarely bugs in
Krita!)
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Krita 5.3.4.1 on Windows 10 (build 19045.6466).
2. Open any image.
3. Put two fingers on the touch screen and pinch.
Observed result:
With "Touch painting" set to Auto (Enabled), a square filled with the current
brush color appears instead of zooming.
With "Touch painting" disabled, nothing happens: the pinch does not zoom.
A two-finger pinch on the precision touchpad does not zoom either. Only the
zoom button in Krita works.
In Canvas Input Settings, "Zoomer et faire tourner le tableau" has a single
rule: two-finger drag ("Glisser avec deux doigts") mapped to "Mode de
rotation". No pinch zoom rule exists there.
Tablet API: Windows Ink (Pointer input for Windows 8+).
Expected result:
Two-finger pinch zooms the canvas.
Hardware: not specified (Windows 10 laptop with touch screen and precision
touchpad).
