--- Comment #13 from Jakob Petsovits <[email protected]> ---
Sorry, I'm going to reopen this one. I can reproduce it! Plasma master sometime
around 6.8.2.

Pretty much as written in the description: briefly navigate to a different KCM
that will cause an ordering change - e.g. open the 7th KCM listed by David
Redondo's `mostusedkcms` script. This would replace the 6th KCM if its score is
now high enough. Then go back to Quick Settings, scroll down to "Most used
pages", and see the 6th button change only after a few seconds.

The issue is not with System Settings, but with the activitymanagerd database
being updated slowly.

After opening the Accessibility KCM in System Settings, I ran the
`mostusedkcms` script manually a few times to see when the value changes:
* First invocation after opening KCM: 20:35:57.264103414
* Last invocation with the same result: 20:35:59.460397847
* First invocation with updated result: 20:35:59.952332923

So yeah, this takes at least 2.7 seconds on my relatively recent Intel Core
258V laptop with modern NVMe 4.0 SSD.

After it's updated, the landing page (Quick Settings) shows the new order
immediately. So you have to be fast enough in opening the new KCM, going back,
and scrolling down the page if necessary. Or just instrument the service
library in some way, I guess.
