I see now you can edit vector points by selecting a vector drawing with the
arrow pointer and afterwards with the edit route tool. 

You can edit vector points, but if a point was not created as a sharp corner
vector point you can not angle its handles anymore. I mean straight handles
will remain as straight handles forever and angled points will be able to
modify its angle. Am I wrong?

It would be nice if you could angle a straight handled point while editing it.

Please consider making it possible.
