Every time I try the Plasma Wayland session and switch back to X11 (even after
restarting the computer), plasmashell launches without any Plasma element. I
can launch krunner and right click on the desktop, but I have no panel nor
widget on the desktop. The funny thing is that if I add an element through the
"Add widgets" menu, the widgets are listed as present on my desktop (there is a
"1" near the Note plasmoid for example, meaning there already is one on the
desktop, except it is not there).
