            Bug ID: 358484
Summary: movit library brightens rendered video
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
               URL: http://corrosivetruths.org/movitbug/
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Video Display & Export
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

If the movit library is enabled, not only does the playback window show a
brightened video, but the actual rendered video is noticeably brighter than the
source, and a video rendered without movit.

You can see clips at the URL.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on movit
2. Play an imported clip - note bright playback
3. Render a clip - note bright rendered video

Actual Results:
Bright video

Expected Results:
Video that looks the same, yo.

The render process seems to add a glsl.=1 to the script for rendering which
results in bright video - but I'm assuming this is needed for GPU effects to
work.

I thought this might be a YUV levels issue, but it doesn't look like the usual
levels recognition stuff.
