I tried it in the following sequence: Install newest Krita Deactivate OpenGL, close Krita Install latest intel drivers, restart computer Open Krita: drawing worked Re-activate OpenGL --> drawing stopped working De-activate OpenGL again and close Krita Start Krita: drawing works again. Conclusion: at the moment, drawing only seems to work with deactivated OpenGL. Please - if possible - send me an update notice as soon as a patch for this is available. Your problem sounds like it is caused by a Windows update that is incompatible with an outdated intel display driver.
