Hi,
I'm using plasma 5.9.5 and I'm having trouble with krunner. I start it with
ALT-Tab and type, but the text doesn't appear on the command line. Mouse click
into the command line does not help.
Then I try the application launcher and when I start typing, always exactly the
first letter is accepted, then it ignores my input.
I observed the bug for the latest few updates of KDE (frameworks, applications,
plasma) in my opensuse tumbleweed. It seems that a "zypper update" can trigger
this behaviour, but also simply using KDE for a while without logging out.
Logging out ouf the session makes it work (until it breaks again).
The two bugs always appear and disappear together. I didn't report it earlier,
because I don't know how to reliably reproduce it. So, what should I try, what
info can I provide to help you fix this?
