I did this with both, the current 17.04.2 and this Git build:

Solved: Before i submitted this issue, is the idea to reduce the number of
files unrevealed as successful. I ask here with, to display a clean error in
the GUI. (there is one in the command line, when i start Kate from there)

This issue drove my crazy today for a full hour.
