The information is only updated when the metadata is re-read (from the menu entry) or automatically when the re-reading for modified images is activated in the settings. The metadata editor only writes the information to the images. The metadata information to be searched when reading image to the database (XMP -> IPTC -> EXIF) can be defined in the extended metadata settings in the setup. It works here without problems.
