Can we have workaround implemented for this bug ("adding a shoddy timer delay
before loading the applets" as David said) until fix in available in qt 5.6?
Note that bug https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-48870 is still not fixed in
qt ("in progress"). Also qt 5.6 release is delayed again and again.
We have broken systray for months and we will have it broken in next months in
stable product...
