            Bug ID: 358812
Summary: Change edge snapping behaviour to top/bottom when for
                    vertical screen orientation
           Product: KScreen
           Version: 5.5.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Edge snapping allows to tile a window to the right half of the screen when the
right screen border is touched while dragging a window (same for the left
border), while touching the top border will maximize the window.

When the orientation of the screen is vertical, this behavior doesn't make
sense anymore. Indeed tiling a window to the right half of the screen will make
it narrow and long. It would be great if KScreen can automatically switch the
behavior (per screen) when the screen is vertical in such a way that touching
the top edge will tile the window to the top half of the screen and touching
the bottom edge tile it to the bottom half. To maximize the window we can
either touch the right or left edge of the screen.

Reproducible: Always
