Renamed the title.
Indeed oxygen tabs have changed from kde4 to kf5.
In fact in kde4 both appearance are supported, with the one you show in your
screenshot being the default.
There was several complains about this design not having enough differences
between active and inactive tab, which is why the alternative design was
written.
for kf5, in order make oxygen easier to maintain (since it is now in
maintenance mode only), some of the alternative design were dropped. (for
instance x in checkboxes). For tabs, we dropped the past default, to keep only
the alternative ...
Bringing back the old appearance will not happen because it makes the code much
more cluttered, harder to maintain, easier to break.
